John,Jr. was born in the Eckerle homestead on October 25,1898.
On May 4,1922 he married Lida Becker.
John and Lida had 3 boys: Richard, Thomas and William.
In the early days John had a Chrysler Plymouth Agency in Price Hill.
In the 1930 and 1940 census John owns a house at 5212 Glenway Avenue and is a salesman of electric appliances.
In his later years John sold real estate.
They lived at 5212 Glenway Ave. near Western Hills School and also at 314 Werk Road where they had 5 acres.
John had a heart attack and died on June 13,1948 in Hamilton County at 314 Werk Road. Lida died in 1976 in New Richmond, Ohio.
