I saw your St. Boniventure post on facebook.
Our family, the Bergers, lived on Queen City Ave and still have property at 2567 Queen
City Ave.
Amanda Berger who married John Eckerle was born on the property.
Congratulations on your PowerPoint presentation on the Haters. How are Viola and Harry
Hater related to your Haters?
For more on the Bergers and Eckerles see:

Hi Jerry
Harry Hater (Viola) is my first cousin, twice removed. His father was Henry Hater, who was a brother of my great grandfather, John Hater.
John had a daughter Mamie who married Joe Fluegemann. That's how the Haters and Fluegemanns are related.
My mother was Joe and Mamie's daughter.
When Joe married Mamie Hater, Mamie's father John Hater gave the store
on Harrison Ave. to his new son-in-law Joe Fluegemann.
The sign in the attached photo, taken about 1898, tells it all.
John Hater's home is still standing at 1715 Westwood Ave., and Joe Fluegemann's home is still there at 1679 Westwood Ave.
The shoe store and dry goods store on Harrison Ave. are
gone. That's where I grew up.
I've been looking at your bergerhill info. It's very
interesting. Thanks for pointing me to it.
You mentioned my PowerPoint presentation on the Haters. Did someone send you that, or have you just seen snippets on Facebook? If you haven't seen the full version, I can put it in the cloud so you can download it.
Thanks for sharing your family history with me.
Tom Smith (my mother was Norma Fluegemann)
